Hearts to face either Paksi SE or Tromso in Europa League

HEARTS were today paired with either Paksi SE of Hungary or the Norwegian club Tromso in the draw for the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

The Edinburgh club must await the outcome of the second qualifying round tie between the aforementioned sides, with the aggregate score at 1-1 following Thursday evening's first leg in Hungary.

Paksi, who finished second in last season's Hungarian top flight, are due to begin their new campaign on Sunday at home to Kecskemti.

Tromso are midway through their domestic season and presently sit second in the Norwegian Eliteserien.

The first leg of the third qualifying round is due to take place on Thursday, July 28, with the return match at Tynecastle on Thursday, August 4.
