JUST over an hour after the polls have closed and there has been some drama, albeit nowhere near Holyrood.

BBC Scotland’s political editor Brian Taylor was left frustrated when the studio’s big screen containing all of the vital information suffered from a glitch, resulting in Taylor storming off set.

The veteran presenter was left red-faced and seemingly lost his composure when technical gremlins interrupted Taylor’s presentation and analysis.

As a result, he walked off the set in a huff, leaving his colleagues in the BBC at a loss.

A few minutes later, the bugs were fixed and Taylor regained his composure.

A full exit poll isn’t expected until about 1am on Friday morning.
