Vehicles hit after theft
THIEVES who stole a car after breaking into the owner’s home crashed into a number of vehicles before nearly hitting a pedestrian.
The blue Citroen Picasso was stolen from Dryden Avenue, Dalkeith, by two suspects.
It collided with vehicles in a post office car park off Old Edinburgh Road. The car was driven into a car park at the rear of North Wynd, where it narrowly missed a passer-by.
The suspects are white, 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in tall, with a slim build. One of them wore a beanie hat.
The incident happened at around 7.30am on Tuesday.
