THE Queen of Pop's exercise regimen is legendary, but photographs of Madonna emerging from a London restaurant have fuelled fears she has pushed her body too far.
The 50-year-old singer, wearing a short-sleeved white shirt, was caught in an unflattering light that showed the veins running along sinewy muscular arms.
Madonna is said to spend between two and four hours a day in the gym, and is a yoga and fitness fanatic.
She refuses to discuss whether she's had cosmetic surgery.
She recently returned to London with her children Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight, David Banda, three, and Mercy James, four, recently adopted from Malawi, after taking her Sticky And Sweet tour across Europe.
In her efforts to stay trim, she has used the Power Plate, a 7,000 machine favoured by several celebrities whose rapid vibrations stimulate the muscles. She was also reported to have used the Gyrotonic Expansion System, an exercise machine of pulleys and wires designed to create long, lean muscles.
Earlier this month Now magazine claimed she was planning armpit surgery to remove unsightly underarm skin.
