'Worrying gaps' in child protection service
THERE are worrying gaps in NHS child protection services in the wake of the Baby P case, a Government-ordered review showed today.
Only about half of staff (54 per cent) in each NHS trust who should be trained in child protection have up-to-date training, it said.
Regulators described this figure as "worryingly low".
