Widow murdered in her own home

A PENSIONER found murdered in her bungalow at the weekend had been repeatedly stabbed and then set on fire, police said.

Una Crown, 86, who lived alone and had no children, was discovered on the floor in her bungalow in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, shortly after 11am on Sunday. A post-mortem examination has established she had been “brutally” assaulted.
