Twitter boosts bone marrow donors

A FAMILY’S social media campaign has led to a 500 per cent increase in the numbers of Jewish donors signing up to the Anthony Nolan bone marrow register.

The increase has been attributed to Jonni and Caroline Berger’s campaign to find a bone marrow donor for their mother Sharon via Twitter using the hashtag £Spit4Mum.
