Timothy Dalton spies guest role in Doctor Who
DOCTOR Who star David Tennant has revealed more about his final outing.
The Bathgate-born star bows out as the tenth Doctor in the two-part grand finale, The End Of Time, before regenerating into actor Matt Smith.
Former James Bond Timothy Dalton, who starred as 007 in films The Living Daylights and Licence To Kill, will play a character called The Narrator.
Full details of the character are being kept under wraps, but there has been speculation that he will be a villain.
Praising Dalton's down-to-earth attitude, Tennant said: "He was lovely. He had the panache and the skill of a movie star, without any of the alarming eccentricities or peculiar demands."
