Ten in court after football riot

TEN men are facing charges after two police officers were injured following a football match.

The arrests followed the Leeds United match against Cardiff City at Elland Road on January 15.

The officers were injured when some home fans were involved in confrontations with police after they kept the Cardiff City fans locked inside the ground at the end of the game, as a safety measure.

One officer received a back injury when he was dragged off his horse, while a second sustained an injury to his leg.
