Tate 'bovvered' by letters
POLICE were investigating claims yesterday that comedian Catherine Tate was targeted by a poison pen letter writer. The 41-year-old star – best known for her "Am I bovvered?" catchphrase – is understood to have received "malicious communications" at her London home.
Police were thought to have been first alerted to the complaint by her husband, Twig Clark, in January.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "We can confirm that police received a complaint from a 35-year-old man on Sunday, 17 January, regarding malicious communications.
"Detectives from Richmond-upon-Thames are investigating."
