Susan Boyle agrees to London move

SINGER Susan Boyle has agreed to move to London – preferably posh Chelsea – following fears for her safety at her West Lothian home.

The I Dreamed A Dream singer, below – whose home in Blackburn was broken into by a fan in January – has agreed to the move after being persuaded by executives at her record label, Simon Cowell's SyCo, that she would be safer. Central to the move is an assurance from record company bosses that her new flat will be cat friendly, so she can take her pet, Pebbles, with her.

Subo, who has lived in her terraced council house for decades, previously said she would not be leaving.

But, yesterday, a source close to the singer said: "She has now agreed to move to a place in the city, where she'll stay when busy working. During promotion commitments it is thought she will stay for weeks at a time.

"To see her in a secure location will ease a lot of minds."

The 48-year-old star, who wants to have moved into the new property by the summer, has her management looking for suitable apartments in London, with exclusive Chelsea her location of choice.

Susan's family recently spoke out about how they thought she needed round-the-clock care after a series of security alerts.

Her brother, John, said: "She needs 24-hour care. She needs to be looked after".
