Stem cell treatment for blindness begun
A BLIND British boy flown to China for stem-cell therapy in a bid to improve his sight has started the treatment, his grandfather said last night.
Joshua Clark, 22 months old, has optic nerve hypoplasia, in which small or poorly developed nerves connecting to the brain can cause blindness.
