Scots capture the ‘birth’ of an iceberg

SCOTTISH scientists have analysed the “birth” of an iceberg for the first time, in a breakthrough that will be broadcast on television today.

The team from St Andrews University completed the first detailed survey of the creation of an iceberg using new oil and gas exploration technology. Operation Iceberg is being shown on BBC2 at 9pm tonight.
