Scandal 'damage' for politics
THE damage wreaked upon politics by the expenses scandal cannot be underestimated, the head of the country's electoral watchdog has said.
Electoral Commission chairwoman Jenny Watson said politicians had a battle on their hands to convince people to participate at all in the forthcoming general election.
