A TEENAGE girl who was believed to have run away with an older man has been traced, police have confirmed.

Chantelle Stewart, 15, was reported missing from her home in Milnathort, near Kinross, on 23 December.

The teenager, who is a member of the traveller community, was thought to be with an older man she had been in contact with through social networking site Facebook. Tayside Police said the pair could have travelled to England.

Officers confirmed yesterday that Chantelle had been traced safe and well “in the London area” five days after being reported missing.
