RBS has eye on Nelson
THE Royal Bank of Scotland is expected to announce the appointment of Brendan Nelson as a non-executive director of its board.
He is currently head of global finance at professional services firm KPMG where he has been responsible for some of the firm's major client relationships within the financial services industry.
Nelson, who was educated at St Aloysius' College in Glasgow, is also a member of the Practitioner Panel, the statutory body established by the Financial Services and Markets Act to advise the Financial Services Authority and to report publicly on the views of the FSA's work.
