Random acts of charity for Oxfam

THE latest event in a craze for bizarre, random acts called ‘flash-mobbing’ hit a charity shop in Birmingham yesterday.

About 50 people turned out to perform the mundane task of handing unwanted clothes to Oxfam.

But the ‘mobbers’ - including several journalists - first waved the garments above their heads and sang the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ song ‘Give It Away’.
