Pumpkin shortage fear at Halloween
PUMPKINS are in short supply this Halloween because of the summer downpours, farmers warned yesterday. Poor weather means the squashes are not ripening.
David Bowman, owner of Europe's largest pumpkin farm, in Lincolnshire, said his harvest was about 30 per cent down this year.
