Police search river after ‘bridge fall’

A SEARCH was under way last night after reports of a person falling in the river in the town of Annan, in Dumfriesshire.

Police, Coastguard and Moffat Mountain Rescue were searching the River Annan following reports of someone seen falling from the bridge at the west entrance to the town.
