Plan to petition Commons online
MEMBERS of the public could be allowed to petition the Commons via the internet, it was announced yesterday, and the authors of the most significant petitions could be called to give evidence to MPs.
MPs will debate the introduction of a new online service in the autumn, in line with a Commons procedure committee report.
