Phones leave women open to attack
YOUNG women chatting on their mobile phones while out alone at night are putting themselves at risk, a campaign group has warned.
A survey of 17- to 24-year-olds found 82 per cent of women talk on their phones while out, with 54 per cent believing it makes them safer because they can easily call for help.
But personal safety group the Suzy Lamplugh Trust said using a phone could distract women from potential dangers.
