Peacock's love for a Lexus ruffles feathers
Visitors to a stately Somerset home have been warned to keep away from a randy peacock after he caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to a car he mistook for a mate.
The amorous bird swooped on the peacock blue Lexus at Maunsel House near Bridgwater.
Surrey: A police officer escaped with his life when he was deliberately run over by the driver of a stolen car.
The officer was attending an accident on the A31 Farnham bypass, Surrey, when the car drove at him.
