Omagh suspect charged

SEAN Gerard Hoey, 35, an electrician from south Armagh, was remanded in custody by Craigavon magistrates yesterday charged with 61 offences relating to the 1998 Omagh bombing, including 29 murders.

He was also charged with 23 explosives offences and conspiracy to murder members of the security forces. He made no plea.
