Office sex pests hit by new law

WOMEN workers should find it easier to fight back against lewd and sexual remarks because of changes to the law, say union officials.

The TUC said changes under the European Equal Treatment Directive would strengthen laws against sexual harassment.

If a colleague persisted in making remarks, or her boss promised promotion if she went away with him for the weekend, she should be able to claim sexual harassment, said the union.
