Nothing like Dame Tanni

BRITAIN’S leading paralympian Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson is due to collect her latest honour from the Queen at Buckingham Palace today.

Tanni, 35, who has won 11 gold medals in her career, was made a Dame in the New Year Honours.

Already an OBE and MBE, she said: "It means a lot to me and my family. My husband Ian hasn’t stopped singing There’s Nothing Like A Dame, from the musical South Pacific, since we heard."
