More workers living on borrowed cash

two-thirds of workers need to borrow money to pay for basics such as food because their wages do not last until the end of the month, according to research by the Unite union.

In an online campaign film titled 21 Days Until The Money Runs Out, the union highlights the problem of payday lenders charging high rates of interest, ahead of a 20 October TUC protest march in London.
