Man accused of gun crime awaits verdict

The jury in the case of a man accused of supplying a gun to Mark Duggan, whose fatal shooting by police just minutes later sparked the August riots, has retired to consider its verdict.

Kevin Hutchinson-Foster is accused of “selling or transferring a prohibited firearm” to Mr Duggan between 28 July and 5 August, 2011.

Hutchinson-Foster, 30, of no fixed abode, denies the charge.
