Major fiscal success for British tennis

The Wimbledon Championships achieved a record profit of £37.75 million this year, the Lawn Tennis Association said.

The surplus, which is invested in British tennis, marks a 7 per cent rise from last year’s margin of £35.17m. Confirmation of Wimbledon’s financial success came in the publication of the LTA’s annual report and financial review.
