Lyndhurst to star in 'Only Fools' prequel
NICHOLAS Lyndhurst is set to play his own father in a prequel to Only Fools and Horses.
The 47-year-old actor has signed up to play "art connoisseur" Freddie "The Frog" Robdal. He is the father of Rodney Trotter, the character Lyndhurst played. Programme-makers have begun filming on the series, Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Chips, which looks at the early years of Del Boy and Rodney.
