Lottery sales raise £757m for charities

NATIONAL Lottery operator Camelot raised £757.2 million for good causes in the first half of the year after seeing a 2.7 per cent hike in ticket sales.

The group reported sales of 2.63 billion across all National Lottery games in the six months to 26 September, up 68.9 million on a year earlier.
