THE Duchess of Cambridge cheered on Louis Smith and Max Whitlock as they took part in the pommel horse final yesterday.

Spectators in the North Greenwich Arena clamoured to take photos of Kate as she sat down in the front row alongside other Team GB gymnasts. She joined in with a standing ovation for the duo.
