London 2012 Olympics: New royal role for the Olympic Park

The Olympic Park is set to reopen to the public from 27 July next year – a year after the opening of the Olympics.

The new-look Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will open in phases. The venue is being billed as a visitor destination and community park unlike any other in the UK, with some of the venues which have been graced by the world’s top sport stars at London 2012.
