Jobseekers ‘have wrong focus’
Only one in ten jobseekers considers good communication and teamwork to be important, even though most employers consider them to be vital, according to new research.
A survey of more than 3,000 unemployed people and 500 employers by learning provider learndirect found a “wide disparity” between what skills jobseekers thought firms were looking for from candidates, and what companies actually wanted.
