JK's Potter prequel 'will not be filmed'
JK ROWLING has revealed her auctioned Harry Potter prequel will not be turned into a mini-movie.
The author also denied speculation that she had written another short story which was being converted into a film for a new theme park in Florida.
Fans of the boy wizard were whipped into a frenzy when it was reported Rowling had penned a tale for a Harry Potter attraction in America.
However, a Warner Brothers spokeswoman said: "JK Rowling has not written scripts for any films based on the Harry Potter 'prequel' or otherwise, as part of the theme park or any other purpose."
The author's 800-word Potter prequel recently fetched 25,000 at a charity auction in London and fans hoped it would be made into a movie.
