Jackson marks end of UK slavery
AMERICAN civil rights activist Jesse Jackson was to join commemorations today marking 200 years since the abolition of the slave trade in Britain.
The Rev Jackson was to speak at an event in Bristol, addressing topics including inequality and debt. He was to highlight the economic contribution of black and minority ethnic groups in the UK.
