SPECTATORS at the Olympic Games have already seen some impressive displays of physicality in London. But even among this elite group of Olympians, few could measure up to the muscles of Italian swimmer Fabio Scozzoli and German cyclist Robert Forstermann.
The 23-year-old Italian swimmer wowed crowds with his large underarm muscles in Sunday’s 100m breaststroke final.
Scozzoli’s physique is all the more remarkable as he spent much of his time preparing for the Olympics by training in a 25m pool, although his training regime may explain why the Italian finished second-last in Sunday’s final.

Meanwhile, Forstermann’s unusually large muscles have also caused a stir as he held an impromptu ‘quad-off’ with fellow German cyclist Andre Greipel on Twitter over the weekend. New Zealand cyclist Greg Henderson posted a picture of the two on the social networking website, revealing Forstermann’s considerably larger thighs.
