Hotel prices hiked in London during Olympics
Hotels are charging families premiums of up to 300 per cent for staying in London during the Olympics, research has found.
Those in the centre of the city were £2,891 a week, or 139 per cent, more expensive on average over the Games period compared with after the big event, according to a study for Santander. One hotel was charging an extra £5,054, a 301 per cent increase.
