Gordon Brown denies blocking Westminster clean-up
THE man asked to clean up Westminster after the MPs' expenses scandal said he was "disappointed" that yesterday's Queen's Speech contained no legislation to implement his recommendations before the general election.
But Downing Street insisted Prime Minister Gordon Brown was not out to block Sir Christopher Kelly's reforms.
