Fresh jobs woe for finance sector

THE jobs market has declined over the past year, especially in banking and insurance.

Employment firm Monster reported a slight fall in jobs in July, despite an increase in some public sector positions. There was a “significant” fall in online recruitment by construction companies, while jobs in finance, banking and insurance fell for the 18th month in a row.
