Firms 'don't want old workers'
MANY people believe firms are unwilling to employ older workers despite new moves aimed at outlawing age discrimination.
A survey of 1000 adults by Help the Aged showed a wide belief that workplaces are still affected by ageism. One in four of those between 55 and 64 did not believe they would be able to stay on in a job beyond 65.
