Facebook tributes to tragic teenager

TRIBUTES have been paid to a teenage boy found hanged at his Teesside home.

The body of the 14-year-old, named by friends on Facebook as Keiran Stott, was discovered at his house at lunchtime on Thursday.

Cleveland police said there were no suspicious circumstances.

A Facebook page called R.I.P. Keiran Stott has been set up and posters have left tributes to the teenager.

One writer suggested he may have been a victim of bullying, although it is understood police have not found any evidence to back up that suggestion.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called to an address on Droitwich Avenue in Stockton after the discovery of a boy’s body.

“The body has been identified as a 14-year-old boy.”
