‘Ecstasy’ deaths: two men bailed

Two men arrested after a suspected double death from a bad batch of ecstasy tablets have been released on bail by police.

The pair were first held on suspicion of supplying drugs after the death of two men thought to have taken ecstasy. Gareth Ashton, 28, died at Wigan Infirmary on Monday, and Jordan Chambers, 19, died at Oldham Hospital the day before.
