East of UK could get a white Christmas
PARTS of the UK could see a white Christmas, forecasters confirmed yesterday, as the country braces itself for below-freezing temperatures and snow.
Temperatures could fall as low as -2C tonight in parts of England and Wales. Parts of central and southern England could experience -5C on Wednesday. Bitterly cold wind will move over the country on Thursday, bringing snow showers to eastern parts of Scotland and England.
