Dracula's cape costs bloodcurdling sum

THE cape worn by Sir Christopher Lee in the 1958 horror film Dracula sold at auction yesterday for £26,400.

Angels the Costumiers sold the item at Bonhams in London, after it was estimated to fetch between 20,000 to 30,000.

Sir Christopher – knighted in the Queen's Birthday Honours List – signed a letter confirming the garment's authenticity.
