Crunch time ahead for English winemakers

The next 10 days are crucial in determining what quality of grape harvest will be produced this year, according to English winemakers.

Last year’s heatwave, combined with a hard winter and a mild spring, to produce a crop which made around three million bottles of wine. Wet weather has led to predictions of low fruit yields this year.
