Children urged to drink more water
THE average British child drinks just half of the recommended amount of water, according to researchers.
Children drink on average three 250ml glasses of water each day, and less than a fifth have the recommended six glasses, a study of 1,000 parents found.
Nutritionist Anita Bean said: "As the hot summer continues and with more hot weather predicted, it is even more important to ensure your children are well hydrated."
