Cherie urges poor to join the QC
CHERIE BLAIR has backed a £1.5 million network of regional centres being set up to persuade people from less privileged backgrounds to become lawyers.
The Prime Minister's wife, a QC, said: "I know from personal experience how difficult it is to enter the profession from a non-privileged background."
