Charles and the Prince of Denmark
Cultural events will be high on the agenda for the final leg of the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall’s visit to Scandinavia. The couple arrived in Copenhagen yesterday after trips to Norway and Sweden.
They were met at the airport by Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, with their first official engagement today, a service at St Alban’s Anglican Church.
Tomorrow, they will see a Hamlet workshop taking place at Kronborg Castle in Elsinore, where the play is set.
The following day’s visit is set to be a highlight for Camilla, as she is taken on to the set of The Killing, one of her favourite television programmes. She will meet Sophie Grabol, who plays Sarah Lund in the crime drama.
An official dinner is being hosted for them tomorrow night by Queen Margrethe and Prince Consort Henrik.
The eight-day tour is the couple’s first overseas trip of the Diamond Jubilee year.
