Cash-for-honours evidence 'good enough for decision'
PROSECUTORS are confident they have enough evidence to decide on whether to press charges over the cash-for- honours allegations.
The announcement came yesterday after revelations that Tony Blair had been re-interviewed by Scotland Yard days before his departure from No 10.
The official end of the inquiry also follows a move by Gordon Brown to distance himself from the affair, after he said the new Attorney General would be stripped of powers to decide if there was a case to answer.
The Crown Prosecution Service is now reviewing the files ahead of a final decision.
More than 130 people have been interviewed by investigating police and four have been arrested. All deny wrongdoing.
