Cancer woman's £2.5m lotto win
A MOTHER of three has landed a £2.5 million lottery win – a year after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Tracy Foster, 40, of Benfleet, Essex, said the past 12 months had been the worst of her life as she faced "horrendous" chemotherapy.
But she was later given the all-clear, and yesterday she spoke of her joy at matching all six numbers in the Lotto jackpot on 30 July. She plans a new house, a car and a holiday in New York.
